Elite Safety Consultancy is part of the consultancy division of Elite Control Systems Limited. The safety consultancy provides services to clients who need additional or independent safety expertise to strengthen their own engineering resources. Elite Safety Consultancy also complements and independently assesses the safety-related control systems delivered by Elite Control Systems - which spans conception, engineering, installation, commissioning and 24/7 support.
To ensure that all safety-related services and systems have the highest possible integrity, Elite operates a rigorous competency management system that is subject to an annual third-party audit. Formalised competency management of this nature is essential to meet the requirements of IEC 61508, 'Functional safety of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety related systems', and the European harmonised equivalent, EN 61508.
Industries served by Elite include oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, paper processing, defence, nuclear, manufacturing and packaging. From its base in Scotland, Elite Safety Consultancy serves clients operating as far afield as Azerbaijan, China, India and the USA.
